Russo Melone Cremoncello di Sicilia

Appearance: Solid salmon pink. Aroma: Smells just like a ripe cantaloupe. Flavor and Texture: Tastes precisely like a ripe cantaloupe. It's smooth, thick, and rich. Quite straightforward and focused on its primary ingredient, but it has no off-putting tastes or flaws. Russo primarily produces liqueurs centered on a particular ingredient, like their hazelnut or orange liqueurs. They are comparable to other brands that offer a wide variety of styles, such as Massenez, Vedrenne, and Giffard. Russo specializes in cellos and creamy cellos. Limoncello is simple to make at home, but if you've ever attempted to create your own cream liqueurs, you'll know it's a completely different challenge and difficult to get right. Russo succeeds without using artificial components, though E481 is included as a stabilizer, which some individuals might object to. Their cremoncello line includes intriguing flavors like pistachio, licorice, and rose petal, all of which are worth sampling. We acquired a 6-pack sampler along with a few individual samples, but I won't review all of them here since the quality is consistent. This cream cello and the arancello I previously reviewed can serve as examples for the entire collection. It's reasonably priced, and most of the range is available in 700, 500, 200ml, and 100ml sizes. "Above Average": 80/100 (3 stars)
