Rating: 13/23 My first time trying limoncello, this is surprisingly less see-through than I imagined, resembling lemon curd. N: It smells exactly like a Lemonhead candy. The aroma is sharp lemon with lots of sugar and a mineral quality. P: It also tastes much like a Lemonhead. I detect that sourness combined with a strong sweetness that carries a minerality, like compressed sugar. F: Sweetness with lemon still present but becoming more bitter. - Conclusion - This has a rather pleasant flavor. It has enough character for a cocktail, but not enough depth for sipping. I'm giving this at least a 12, but likely not as high as a 16. I've settled on a 13. It's decent, but it's just too much like Lemonheads.
