Kason Mccormack 3.5

I recall the 2001 Edition being the peak of rum for me. Now, years later, reviewing its sibling. My palate has definitely evolved away from rum, especially the sweeter varieties. It presents rich Christmas fruit pudding, heavily featuring raisins. While it's a quality spirit, it is excessively sweet, far more than I can appreciate, so sadly, I won't finish it. Rating it 3.5 stars (4 for quality, 2 for drinkability).

Hattie Clancy 4.5

This is better than their green bottle. It's very flavorful, incredibly smooth, and easy to enjoy straight. I strongly advise against mixing this with anything, as it would negatively impact the overall taste.

Sonia Allred 4.0

This spirit, aged for 13 years after maturation in Scotland casks and a year in sherry, is 100% pot still. It's inferior to Diplomatico Reserva, offering a very light and less complex experience with only faint notes of dry wood and coffee.

Shelby Ferrell 4.0

It was almost a perfect score for me. Not quite as good as the '97, but still excellent. It's definitely on the sweeter side.

Theresa Tam 3.0

High alcohol content masks the taste. It needs dilution.
