I began my spirit journey with rum and didn't fully appreciate this one back then. I detected a slight off note. However, as I got into whisky, this became one of my favorite rums. For reasons I can't quite pinpoint, I eventually came to enjoy that off note. If I were to add a rum to my collection, this and Zacapa xo would be my top choices. Though, the current price for this might make me hesitate.

This is among my favorites. It's less cloying than exclusiva reserva. I really enjoy this, as well as Ron Millionario XO. Cheers.
This rum is fantastic! Sip it to truly appreciate the flavors - roasted nuts, cinnamon - ideal for after dinner.
Not as sweet and round as the 12yo reserva. For the price, it didn't impress me much. It's stronger at 43%.
Good and fruity.
Truly amazing.
