About this bottle

Heaven Hill produces this 25-year-old rye as part of its Oldest Rittenhouse Rye lineup. As a single barrel offering, slight variations between bottles are possible. The rye was aged in the coldest section of the warehouse to ensure consistent maturation. It stands as one of the oldest rye whiskeys available, possibly the oldest.

The finest rye I have ever tasted. It is packed with rye spice, aged oak spice, dark fruits, chocolate, coffee, apples, blood oranges, honey, berries, maple syrup, and Christmas cake. Visited Jack Rose in DC. This is a whiskey I won't experience again. Massive oak flavors are followed by strong spice, vanilla, and fig in the end. Fantastic.
