About this bottle
The Madre Cuishe expression is made from 100% agave karwinskii, grown between 2,500 and 6,000 feet. The agaves are cooked in underground pits, milled with stones, fermented with natural yeasts in wooden vats, and then double-distilled in copper alembics. Rómulo Sánchez Parada, a master mezcalero in Candelaria Yegolé, Oaxaca, produces the Rey Campero line, primarily using wild agaves.
