La Tequileña distillery (NOM 1146) in Jalisco's Los Altos region, situated over 5,000 feet above sea level, is where Purasangre Extra Añejo Tequila is produced from 100% blue weber agave. Master Distiller Enrique Fonseca Cerda oversees the double distillation, which utilizes both a column and a pot still, before the tequila spends five years maturing in French oak.
