Strong vanilla and raisin aromas make for a very sweet, yet not cloying, nose. Ripe apricots, a hint of tropical fruit like pineapple, and an ethereal touch of sweet white wine are also apparent. Palate: Light-bodied, the vanilla and raisin return, accompanied by a subtle, non-intrusive wood that provides a gentle astringency. It's not bad, but I would have preferred a fuller body. Finish: Very short, perhaps excessively so. The notes from the palate linger, but they vanish too quickly to fully appreciate them.
