About this bottle

Prichard's Distillery teamed up with Nashville's Olive and Sinclair Chocolate Company to develop this distinct whiskey. It begins with a bourbon created from a mash of corn, rye, and wheat, followed by a secret method of infusing it with specially roasted cacao beans. Bourbon and chocolate unite.

Trace Han 4.0

An intense, flavored whiskey from Prichard's Distillery, created in partnership with the Olive & Sinclair Chocolate Company in Tennessee. It's made by infusing premium double-barreled bourbon with carefully selected cocoa beans. The aroma begins with notes of dark chocolate and hints of Prichard's Double Barreled Bourbon Whiskey. The bold palate adds more dark chocolate and oak notes, leading to a long and bold finish with additional chocolate and oak flavors. (October 2019 / August 2022)

Nose: dark chocolate, cherry, corn, cinnamon. The nose is quite basic yet incredibly pleasing. Taste: dark chocolate, raisin, cherry, almonds. This is something everyone should experience at least once. I'm revisiting this after purchasing my third bottle. It's one I always return to after some time. Simply one of my all-time favorites. So distinctive and delightful.

Francis Buckner 3.8

Received as a gift, and I typically don't explore flavored whiskeys. This one was pleasant. The chocolate notes are very subtle, almost undetectable. It really developed towards the end as it opened up. To me, it's like a standard bourbon with just a whisper of chocolate. Worth trying.

Susan Kearney 1.0

I'm disappointed. The nose offers a wonderful chocolate sweetness with vanilla and honey. However, the taste is harsh. I anticipated a rich and sweet experience, but found it to be dry, astringent, herbal, and peppery instead.

Phoebe Zamudio 4.0

I genuinely enjoy this “flavored” whiskey. The dark chocolate infusion is very mild and doesn't add extra sweetness beyond what you'd expect in a typical bourbon.

Kolton Flint 4.0

I enjoy this, with a prominent chocolate aroma, but it doesn't translate to the palate. Intriguing, not excessively sweet. An excellent sipper, difficult to find these days.
