I'm pleased I purchased this some time ago after having a few drinks with a colleague. This is a reliable Canadian whisky that is very easy to drink neat or on the rocks. The aroma is smooth and gentle, with notes of vanilla and a touch of ethanol. The body is light and smooth, with more vanilla and some woody notes, and a longer finish than anticipated for an 80-proof whisky. I used it in a few drinks, like an Old Fashioned, Whisky Highball, and Whisky and Coke. It's too mellow for a good Old Fashioned, but the Highball and Coke were successful. While writing this, I compared it to Rich and Rare Reserve and still prefer this one, though it's close. I also appreciate that the company offers a military version, donating a portion of each sale to the Bob Woodruff Foundation to support veterans and their families. Overall, it's a good Canadian whisky that's very easy to consume. Enjoy.

I found this at a local spot I frequent and decided to try it. Now, I'm happy I took a chance. At first, I wasn't wowed, but now that the bottle has been open for a bit, things have changed substantially. The aroma is primarily toasted marshmallow and honey. The flavors mirror this with subtle traces of vanilla and maple. It's smooth to drink and leaves me wanting more! I'll definitely get another bottle to see if my experience is similar.
More burn towards the end. Flavors aren't intensely strong, but it's easy to drink.
Unremarkable. It's a standard, sweet Canadian whisky.
