Patrón Ahumado Reposado is a limited edition designed for both tequila and mezcal enthusiasts. It is crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave, where the ripe agave piñas are roasted for seven days using mesquite charcoal in underground stone pits. Following roasting, the cooked piñas are crushed with a tahona stone wheel. The name 'Ahumado,' meaning smoky, indicates the expected flavor profile. Patrón suggests enjoying this tequila neat, on the rocks, or in an Old Fashioned. It has been available for a limited time since April 2023. (SRP $79.99)

The aroma of this tequila has citrus/lime notes with a hint of BBQ smoke that surrounds it. Maybe some honey as well. On the palate, the agave blends well with the citrus flavors, and the barrel influence is noticeable for a reposado. Overall, a pleasant Tequila.
It's unfamiliar to me, and I'm new to this style.
