About this bottle

Co-founded by Matthew and Camila McConaughey, the organic Pantalones Tequila brand was launched in October 2023. Made from 100% blue Weber agave, it is produced in Amatitán, Jalisco, at a family-owned distillery that is certified organic. The blanco tequila is bottled at 40% ABV without any aging. Initial sales were available at select Total Wine stores in TX, CA, FL, AZ, NV, and online, priced at $39.99.

A crisp, organic, gluten-free Agave Spirit from NOM: 1614 in Jalisco (Los Valles), Mexico, twice distilled in Stainless Pot with a Copper Coil before bottling at 40% ABV. It features an aromatic beginning with notes of agave, earth, fruits, herbs & spices; a bold character adds notes of citrus oil, dried cherries, honey & mint, leading to a complex, medium-length finish with notes of white pepper, vanilla, cinnamon & almond. I tried this at the local mystic bar. This tequila doesn't offer much and isn't great for sipping. However, because I'm a big fan of a certain person, I need to revisit it and definitely try the reposado and anejo versions.
