About this bottle
Otenba, a juniper-flavored spirit, is distilled in Amsterdam. Created by Monique ten Kortenaar, who previously distilled for Lucas Bols and Wynand Fockink, it is characterized as being between a gin and a genever. Its production uses a malted spirit from barley, rye, and corn, similar to genever, but incorporates botanicals more commonly found in modern gin, such as pandan leaves, sencha tea, lemongrass, orange blossom, and sansho pepper.
