This review is for the "Classic" version. A gentle smoke, oaken vanilla, and caramel are met by spiciness in the latter half of the sip, leading to an otherwise smooth finish. It initially resembles a warming bourbon, but its subtle unique qualities give it distinction. Impressive, and not strange at all, even with the use of dried elephant dung for smoking the malts and pearl millet in the grain bill.
