The nose has oak, vanilla, biscuit, oranges, butterscotch, acetone, and blueberry. The palate features January citrus, bread, significant bitter tannins, and spice like pepper and chili. The finish is characterized by charred bitter/burnt citrus, sour jam, and pepper.
The Bordeaux cask finish results in a very nice, long finish. The nose is standard, though.
