About this bottle

Situated in an industrial district of New Orleans, near a cement plant, Celebration Distillation was among the pioneers of the contemporary American craft distillery movement. Their offerings span from white rum to pre-mixed cocktails. The spiced rum provides a local New Orleans twist on the conventional spiced rum by enhancing the spice level for increased heat.

Lavern Sheets 3.0

It loosens you up with a butterscotch introduction, then hits you with a rapid-fire barrage of cinnamon, allspice, clove, and ginger. It's like a home invasion, trashing your place and leaving ginger snap fragments and drywall dust everywhere. The finish is weak and causes a tingling sensation, much like a spicy cookie. It's incredibly hot, but smoother than the Amber expression. If ginger snaps are your thing, you could sip this neat. It would likely make an excellent component in holiday-themed mixed drinks. Fans of ginger and cinnamon will adore it. However, if you dislike those flavors (as I do), there's no point in purchasing this rum.

Cordell Nichols 1.5

Far too much spice.

Hassan Lozano 4.5

Sweet dark sugar and spice.
