About this bottle
Phillip Duff founded this genever, which is entirely produced in Holland, a rarity in current production. The genever contains 53% maltwine, derived from a ratio of two parts rye to one part malted barley. The remaining 47% of the spirit is a wheat distillate. Its botanicals include juniper, orange peel, lemon peel, star anise, licorice, and coriander. A portion of the proceeds from each bottle, specifically $1, is contributed to charities supporting bartenders. As of March 2018, its distribution was confined to New York City, with London slated as the next market.
