About this bottle
Sebastiaan created Bobby's Schiedam Dry Gin in homage to his grandfather, Bobby, who made his own gin. Bobby, who was born in Indonesia, relocated to the Netherlands in the 1950s. He missed the flavors of his native land and began adding Indonesian spices to Dutch jenever to produce his own gin. Sebastiaan visited the Netherlands in 2012 and met with Herman Jansen's master distiller. They collaborated to recreate Bobby's gin formula, incorporating Indonesian ingredients like cubeb pepper, lemongrass, cloves, cinnamon, and coriander.

Fantastic suggestions for drinks! This spirit, mixed with Double Dutch skinny tonic, orange slices, and cloves, creates a festive and refreshing experience.
Relatively heavy, with many spices after the initial lemongrass sensation.
The palate features enjoyable notes of lemongrass and pepper.
This is my preferred gin, excellent for sipping and in a gin and tonic!
