Smells like vanilla, honey, and caramel corn. It first feels creamy, tasting mostly of violet, honey, malt, and a little bit of grassy flower stem. Then it becomes mainly oak and honey. It's straightforward but nice.
I appreciate this distillery; their bourbon and single malt are excellent. Each visit to Kelowna, BC, involves a stop for samples, and they provide complimentary shipping across Canada. However, I wasn't particularly fond of the single malt with a rum barrel finish.
Quite sharp initially, much smoother when diluted.
Same style and price bracket, best rated first.
