About this bottle
Bruichladdich's super heavily-peated single malt (80+ ppm), now in its 16th annual series, will launch in September 2025 with three expressions, followed by a distillery-exclusive bottling in November 2025. Unlike the first two releases in the series, this 16.3 expression was crafted from barley sourced from a single field on a single farm on Islay, located just a few miles from the distillery. It was also peated to a higher level than the first two, reaching 189.5 ppm compared to 101.4 ppm. Aged for 5 years in bourbon, Sauternes, and Pedro Ximenez casks, it is bottled without chill-filtration at approximately cask strength, 61.6% ABV. Available starting September 2, 2025. (SRP $279.99)
