About this bottle
BenRiach has adopted the practice of using Latin names for its smoky whiskies. "Fumosus" translates to "smoky," and while there is no direct Latin word for "rum," "Arumaticus" sounds fitting. This whisky initially matures in American oak barrels before receiving a finishing period in Jamaican rum barrels.
