About this bottle
Molasses from sugarcane grown in Java, local water, and red rice cakes are fermented to create this rum. The resulting mixture is distilled in Chinese pot stills and matured in large teak casks before being bottled at 75 proof. The name is a combination of the Indonesian word "nusa" for "island" and the Spanish word "caña" for sugar cane.
