About this bottle
Novo Fogo places significant emphasis on terroir for its estate-grown organic cachaça. Produced by hand in small, 130-liter batches using traditional methods at a zero-waste distillery in Paraná, Brazil, this single barrel cachaça is uncommon. Barrel #86 was aged for one year in repurposed Four Roses Bourbon barrels. These barrels were disassembled, sanded, and reassembled with new medium toast interiors to allow the sugarcane character to emerge. A total of 186 bottles were released in 2016.
