Corn, wheat, and malted barley form the mash bill for this Tennessee whiskey. Following distillation, it undergoes the Lincoln County Process, which involves filtering through sugar maple charcoal before maturation. One hundred and eight 30-gallon barrels were filled to age the whiskey for at least two years, after which it was transferred to 53-gallon barrels to complete its aging. This is the single barrel iteration of Nelson's Green Brier's First 108, bottled at cask strength, with the initial release measuring 121.9 proof.

The aroma is complex and difficult to discern. Smoke, mustiness, and leather are present, along with some cherry. Taste: begins sweet, transitioning to orange notes and becoming sharp. The finish is smooth, with vanilla and pepper.
Smells like a leather goods store. You'd never guess it was only aged two years.
The best 2-year-old whiskey I have ever sampled. It tastes like it's been aged 12+ years.
