Jack Daniel's 150th Anniversary Edition (100 Proof)

A very sweet and mellowed Jack Daniel's, the increased strength of this spirit really brought out some flavors! Bottled at 50% abv On the nose, it's excellent! Caramel in a superb manner, Prunes like never before, Grassy, lots of Burnt wood, Cola without fizz, Maple syrup and Bananas. On the palate, it's a really intriguing dram. It's like your standard Jack Daniel's but enhanced. Spicy chili, aged Caramel, Creme brulee and a Bitter-sour edge. Aftertaste has a very long finish with clove notes. Overall, this dram is the finest Jack Daniel's I've had to date, and I rate it a solid 92 out of 100. Cheers!

I'm not usually a big fan of Jack Daniel's. However, this offers a pleasant kick. The higher alcohol content is noticeable, but I sometimes enjoy a spirit that ensures alertness. It's not ideal for a relaxed mood. It reminds me of the "wake-up juice" Doc Brown consumes in Back to the Future 3... Great Scott!

This is seriously awesome, just WOW and truly dangerous, hehe. I intended to save it for longer but the flavor got the better of me. If I buy another, I'll try to keep it longer... Nah, I'll just open it and drink it with pals. It's pricey, but remember, it's a 1.14 liter;)

Smells sweet like honey. No wood influence. Not sweet on the palate. Tastes more like scotch but has rye notes. Very subtle smoke. Significantly better than regular Jack.

Hard to believe this is 80% corn. It has a lingering finish but it's somewhat harsh. I don't think I'm a fan. 82/100

Slightly less sweet, a bit bolder, with more character. Superior to the classic No. 7.
