Mount Gay Single Estate Series 24_02_Vt18d2 is a molasses-based rum produced exclusively from sugar cane cultivated at the Mount Gay Estate in St. Lucy, Barbados. This second limited edition expression utilized sugar cane harvested in a single year, 2018 (Vt18 - Vintage 18). It comprises a blend of two distinct pot-still distillations (d2) and has been aged in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. With a production run of only 5,418 bottles, 1,200 were allocated for the U.S. market starting September 2024. The rum is bottled at 55% ABV without chill-filtration. The suggested retail price is $400.
