About this bottle
Mount Gay Pot Still Rum is the second offering in the brand's Master Blender Collection, following the 2018 XO Peat Smoke Expression. This marks the inaugural limited edition release under new master blender Trudiann Branker. She selected rums distilled in 2009 exclusively using the distillery's double retort pot stills. These rums were aged for 10 years in American oak before Branker finished them in first-fill ex-whiskey barrels. The rum is bottled at cask strength, 48% ABV, and became available in October 2019. Production was limited to 4920 bottles, with 1002 allocated to the US market.
