About this bottle

A key distinction between mezcal and tequila is the potential to use various agave species for mezcal production. Although most mezcals (particularly those exported to the U.S.) are made from agave espadín, the genetically ancestral form of blue weber (used in tequila) and easily cultivated, exceptional mezcals like this one are possible. This mezcal is crafted from the rare, wild-harvested agave lumbre, which is seldom found outside of blends or 'ensambles'.
