Los Siete Misterios Tobala 2013 An intense agave spirit from NOM-O153X, made with Tobala agave and double distilled. It offers notes of roasted agave and smoke. Tobala agaves differ from standard Espadin agave, a common choice for Mezcal. Instead of the long, pointed leaves of Espadin, Tobala have broad, flat leaves and smaller cores, meaning more are needed to produce the same quantity of Mezcal. April 2017
