Aromas of juniper berry, with abundant floral notes, honey, mascarpone, mint, blueberry/honeyberry sugar, a slight iodine, and even a touch of fishiness (though not unpleasant). On the palate, juniper berry returns, along with the dark berry fruitiness from the nose, a slight menthol note, pine sap, bark, and iodine. The alcohol is quite present on the first sips but mellows with time. The finish is iodized with a lingering taste of underbrush and dried orange. The texture is a bit coarse, and the flavors are less pronounced than the aromas suggested. Still, it's excellent in cocktails (especially when their fruit liqueur is added).
