McMenamins Billy

The aroma is distinctly like barbeque, with a deep, sweet mesquite flavor and a hint of smoke. Oak notes are present on the palate, followed by a clear charred barbeque taste. It's an interesting profile, not what I typically seek in whiskey, but it would appeal to barbeque enthusiasts.

The mouth is full of wheat and a significant amount of char. While not a bad drink, it's not a favorite.

Incredibly mellow. Smells of charred spirits but is remarkably smooth.
