Colton Griffiths 4.3

I sought out a distinguished selection for this occasion. My search for Kirsch led me to this distillery, prompting the acquisition of five of their products. Their pear Williams expression is crafted entirely from distilled Okanagan pears. This review initiates the series of five. Nose: The most ripe pear imaginable. White pepper notes. A peculiar aroma I identified as the distinct scent of rendered pork fat. Decent, but not outstanding. Palate: A slick texture on the tongue. A subtle sweetness. An intense pear flavor. Whispers of Pinot Grigio. The pork fat notes reappear, yet pleasantly. It evokes the sensation of consuming a premium pork chop accompanied by pear sauce. An improvement. Finish: Unexpectedly long-lasting. It completely dries out, leaving behind aromatic, almost cosmetic-like floral qualities. It's the very spirit of pear blossoms, lingering indefinitely. Magnificent. This finish elevates the score from a 3.5 to a 4.25 for me.
