About this bottle

Lost Spirits Distillery, based in Los Angeles, utilizes innovative technology for its Crying of the Puma spirit. Owner Bryan Davis acquired spirit aged 12 to 18 months from an Islay distillery in Scotland. He then treated it in his THEA One Reactor with riesling toasted oak from late harvest grapes. Lost Spirits asserts that this six-day treatment results in a spirit with the same chemical profile as a 15-year-old whisky. As Scotch whisky requires a minimum of three years of aging, Lost Spirits categorizes this as a "spirit distilled from 100% malted barley."
