Long Road Distillers Wheat Whisky

Sampled neat. The aroma is youthful, like freshly cut grass and butter. As the wheated whiskey rests, the aroma improves, becoming like butterscotch. The taste doesn't match the smell. It's smooth and sweet, but lacks complexity. I tried this as part of a $10 whiskey flight. In my opinion, I prefer the bourbon.

The aroma is alcoholic, and the spirit is light and sweet, suggesting it needs more time maturing in the barrel.

Smooth with a slight bite.
