Review #34 - Liqueur #6 Shiny gold hue, with a viscous appearance in the glass. Nose - Bears a resemblance to Green Chartreuse, offering herbal, spicy, and sweet notes, along with pine, mint, and tree bark. Hints of anise and honey are present, eerily like Chartreuse. Palate - Despite its low 38% ABV, it's quite oily and thick. Very much like Chartreuse, starting with pepper and spice upfront, effervescent, then quickly becoming sweet and herbal, reminiscent of coniferous sap, pine needles, and mint. The mid-palate has a peculiar aroma, possibly like damp, musty wood. Finish - Lingers for a short to medium duration, with sweetness, honey, and a touch of mint. In summary, it's remarkably similar to Green Chartreuse (though not less expensive based on online checks). However, it lacks the aromatic potency found in the 55% French liqueur.
