An intense, 19-year-old single grain Scotch whisky distilled at Loch Lomond in December 1996 and bottled by Douglas Laing for their Old Particular line in May 2016. The yield from a single refill hogshead was 341 bottles. It has an aromatic beginning with notes of sweet citrus, vanilla sugar, blossoms, and a hint of fudge; a rich middle adds notes of caramel, aromatic spices, and orange peel; it finishes long and balanced.
