Who would have thought a gin featuring Douglas Fir (presumably needles) would be good? Lots of other components, but this is the dominant taste. I enjoy the scent of pine and fir foliage, so imagine juicing that, adding other local New Zealand herbs and tree extracts, and voilà! A fantastic gin experience... lovely neat.
