Despite its strength, the flavor profile isn't as robust as I'd like. It's certainly not terrible; it offers familiar wheated bourbon notes, along with a pleasant touch of spice, oak, and vanilla/caramel. The texture is quite light, and I wouldn't repurchase it.

About this bottle
Batch B525 represents the second of three Larceny Barrel Proof Batch releases planned for 2025. Consistent with prior bottlings, this is an uncut, small-batch bourbon aged 6 to 8 years and bottled directly from the barrel. It is crafted using Heaven Hill's wheated bourbon mash bill: 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 12% malted barley. Bottled at 117.4 proof (58.7% ABV), it is available in limited quantities starting May 2025 with a suggested retail price of $64.99.
