Upon pouring, the aroma strongly suggests spiced apple cider, perhaps even freshly made caramel apple, without nuts. Later, the aroma is apple with more pronounced caramel. The taste starts with ripe red apples, tasting like apple pie, then develops into a blend of red and green apple flavors with a strong caramel presence. Hot alcohol is noticeable throughout the tasting. The finish is moderately long, with the apple flavor fading slowly.

Comparable to Laird’s Applejack - Smooth Blend (80 proof), but with less alcohol burn than the Applejack, even though it has a higher proof. This is because it lacks neutral grain spirit and has a longer aging period which makes it smoother.

It starts immediately with a tart green apple and some spicy, almost rye-like undertones, followed by a sweet red apple and vanilla caramel that maintains its spice. It finishes with a soft yellow apple and vanilla.

The aroma is like apple pie. It drinks like a smooth, oaky bourbon with a pleasant fruity tingle at the end.
