This local distillery has truly excelled with this offering. I never anticipated needing cassis in my life before trying this. This brandy-based liqueur is crafted from locally sourced black currants. The aroma transports me to a vibrant farmer's market on a sunny day. Tasting it neat, the County Cassis achieves a refreshing balance of tartness and sweetness without being syrupy. The flavor is bold, juicy, and rich. This liqueur provides a delightful experience of sweet, tart, and grounded flavors that I don't want to end! County Cassis would be excellent in a clear spirit cocktail, as a topping for ice cream, or enjoyed on its own, chilled or over ice. It deserves praise for both its execution and originality. 9/10
