An elegant Agave Spirit from NOM 1137. It begins aromatically with notes of agave, citrus, herbs, and spices; its rich life adds notes of cooked agave, green bell pepper, and lime; culminating in a slightly creamy and spicy death of medium duration with notes of black pepper, sea spray, and metal. Smells sweet, fruity, with a bit of sour funk and a metallic hint, but tastes like sweet, grassy agave and is very refreshing. It brings to mind freshly cut grass blowing in the wind on a pleasant summer day. Worth the cost, but not mind-blowing tequila.
A crisp Agave Spirit created by NOM 1122. It offers an aromatic beginning with hints of agave, fruits, flowers, herbs, and spices, followed by a rich palate and a balanced, medium-length finish. May 2017
It's hard to dislike JAJA - made from 100% blue agave - it has a mild sweetness and a respected NOM - plus its bottle makes it a hit. I'll get more.
Surprisingly good tequila. Clean finish. Easy to drink. Not excessively alcoholic. I could easily imagine it in a margarita as well.
Impressed by the updated packaging and the spirit itself. Worth trying.
