About this bottle

Batch 4 represents the newest bottling in the Jack Daniel's annual Aged Series, a 10 Year Tennessee Whiskey. While minor differences may exist between batches, the mash bill of 80% corn, 12% malted barley, and 8% rye remained constant. Charcoal mellowing and aging in toasted and charred American white oak barrels were also consistent processes. The barrels were initially stored on upper levels of the barrelhouse before being moved to lower racks to prolong maturation. This whiskey is presented at 97 proof and will be offered in limited quantities across the US starting in February 2025, priced at $84.99 for a 700ml bottle.

Ernest Alston 4.0

Nose: oak, deep rich burnt brown sugar, banana taffy, vanilla Palate: oak, peanuts, vanilla The oak was overpowering on the palate with a medium finish. Drying. Neither bad nor great.

Kermit Stepp 4.0

The aroma presents notes of banana, burnt brown sugar, and vanilla. The taste features peanuts, vanilla, and heavy oak with a medium finish that leaves the mouth slightly dry.

Jerri Coker 4.5

Great taste. Robust and powerful. Really good!

Hillary Schaefer 2.8

It doesn't have much going on, but it was smooth.
