About this bottle
This bottling represents the first time rum from South Africa has been offered in the United States, and the first time rum from Mhoba Distillery has been available stateside. It spent four years aging solely in South African whisky casks at the Mhoba distillery, located in the Mpumalanga province near South Africa's northeastern border. It was bottled in New York State with no additives. Just four barrels were chosen for this release. The rum is presented at full barrel proof, 59% ABV, and was available from September, 2021.
