About this bottle

Cognac Park VSOP is crafted from ugni blanc grapes. It is a blend of brandies originating from the Fins Bois, Petite Champagne, and Grande Champagne growing regions. The eau-de-vie spends its initial eight months in new, lightly toasted French Limousin oak casks. It is then moved to older, previously used casks, where it matures for a total of eight to twelve years. The final blend is bottled at 40% ABV.

Journee Pelletier 3.8

Second of six samples from a Park Cognac selection. Oak, citrus zest, stone fruits, and a trace of an unclear spice on the nose. Silky palate with dried apricots, some prunes, and raisins. The finish is rather short, with some stone fruits and cocoa. This is good enough to be enjoyed on its own, not as a component in a mixed drink.

Titus Hendrix 3.8

The aroma is of almond and marzipan. The taste is pleasant, sweet but not overly so. Slightly dry. The finish is nice and not too prolonged.

Dessie Mcduffie 3.0

Too much alcohol flavor.
