HINE Cigar Reserve XO Cognac

Nose: Evokes a damp autumn forest, trail mix with a strong raisin presence, baking spices like entering a well-stocked kitchen, and the distant scent of cigars from hunters around a campfire. Palate: Smooth, with notes of honey, nuts, tobacco, vanilla, significant wood tannins, a touch of bitterness, sweet red fruits (both fresh and dried), and spices that appear and disappear, creating a complex profile. Finish: Lingering, yet delicate, with hints of wood, floral notes, vanilla, sweet dried fruit, and baking spices.

A dark, robust spirit made from grapes, infused with oak, bright spicy high notes, and warm, deep nutty undertones. The spectrum of tastes harmonizes beautifully with a premium cigar, creating a complementary contrast between the dry, tannic tobacco and the sweet, woody cognac. The finish is exceptionally enduring, concluding with a warm vanilla note reminiscent of a new cigar. Even for non-smokers, this offers a remarkable flavor journey.

This is the finest cognac I have ever experienced. The only downside is the cost:) However, its quality justifies the price when you are enjoying it.

This is a fantastic XO cognac. It has a wonderfully balanced taste, whether enjoyed with or without a cigar.

It's extremely smooth even for VS and it's great. 5 stars!
