About this bottle

Château de Montifaud is currently managed by Laurent Vallet, a sixth-generation family member. The estate has a history of production that dates back to at least 1837. They function as a grower distiller, with 110 of their 120 hectares of vineyards situated in Petite Champagne and the remainder in Grande Champagne. The Napoléon expression is aged for a period ranging from 15 to 18 years.

Annalise Toro 4.0

Perhaps overshadowed by the XO from CdM, this cognac slightly disappointed me in comparison to that excellent one. It has fuller-bodied flavors but is also less smooth than the XO. I'll be sticking with the latter from now on.

Ariel Hildebrand 4.5

Aroma of dried fruit and prunes, then bitter dark chocolate

Remi Brady 3.0

Full-bodied with a hint of citrus. VSOP
