The fifth limited edition in Hennessy's Master Blender's Selection series is the third crafted by master blender Renaud Fillioux de Gironde. Launched in 2016, this series comprises unique blends intended to be unrepeatable. This particular bottling honors 18 select Hennessy distillers, some of whom have been with the Maison for over two centuries. The blend is composed of selected eaux-de-vie aged for a minimum of seven years in French oak casks. Bottled at 86 proof, it is exclusive to the US market and became available in May 2024, with a suggested retail price of $99.

The first few sips are wonderful. It's smooth, sweet, rich, and aromatic with notes of orange segments, orange zest, baking spices, tobacco, vanilla, caramel, a hint of rancio, and a touch of bitterness that balances the initial sweetness.
