The nose is reminiscent of dessert, offering caramel and custard notes, possibly with a whisper of strawberry. It lacks the fruitiness of the 2021 expression and the industrial character of the 2020. The palate brings forth fudge, banana, a touch of espresso, and concludes with a subtly bitter, herbal finish. While I lean slightly towards the 2020, this remains a superb Hampden.
