Great Jones Four Grain Straight Bourbon

Aroma: Notes of vanilla, toasted marshmallow, Luxardo cherries, milk chocolate, ripe peaches, sweet caramel, bright grapefruit, tropical passion fruit, rich maple syrup, brown sugar, warm cinnamon, and almond cake. Taste: Flavors of cola, dark cherries, creamy vanilla, brown sugar, toasted almonds, maple syrup drizzled on waffles, a hint of pepper, juicy oranges, and more cola. Aftertaste: Lingering vanilla, zesty oranges, soft marshmallows, sweet honey, buttery caramel, aromatic cloves, delicate lavender, and sweet raspberries.

The nose is rich with vanilla, chocolate, caramel, apple, oak, and char. On the palate, expect oak, vanilla, dark chocolate, apple, and char. The finish is peppery.

A fantastic bourbon, one of the top I've enjoyed recently; I was genuinely surprised. Well done to Great Jones for perfecting it.

A notable improvement over the standard bottling, this offers comparable notes of spice and vanilla, but with a fuller body and superior equilibrium, despite its elevated proof. Definitely a step up.
