About this bottle
Buffalo Trace's Warehouse X holds over 5,000 aging barrels, from which experimental bottlings are occasionally released. This particular release from 2016 was created using barrels from the Independent Stave Co. These barrels, similar to standard Buffalo Trace barrels, were subjected to infrared light waves before charring. This bottling involved exposure to short and medium wave frequencies at 60% power for 30 minutes, followed by a level #1 char before the whiskey was introduced. It is a limited edition comprising 4 barrels and is sold in 375ml bottles.
